How it works
Free tools, no sign-up. Pick one below to see how it works — or read how the alarm clock works.
1. Browse a category
Birthdays, holidays, sporting events and more, all under All Countdown Events. Each one links to a curated page for that specific occasion.
2. Open the page
Every countdown page shows a live clock (days, hours, minutes and seconds) counting down to that exact moment, calculated correctly in your local time zone.
3. Share the link
Send the page link by WhatsApp, text, email or anywhere else. Everyone who opens it sees the same live countdown. They can add the moment to their calendar with one tap.
4. Celebrate at zero
When the clock hits zero, the page erupts: confetti, fireworks, or another celebration effect matched to the occasion. Anyone visiting after the moment sees the celebration right away.
1. Set a time
Type hours, minutes and seconds, or tap a preset. You can also jump straight to a ready-made timer — a 5-minute, 10-minute or egg timer — with the time already set.
2. Press start
The timer counts down. It keeps running if you switch tabs — the tab title shows the time remaining so you can glance back anytime — but it can only ring while the page is open, so don't lock the screen or close the tab. Pause and resume whenever you like.
3. It rings at zero
When the timer reaches zero it sounds an alarm and flashes Time's up. Press Space to start or pause, hit Full screen for a big across-the-room display, or Reset to run it again.
1. Press start
Hit Start (or Space) and the stopwatch counts up from zero in minutes, seconds and hundredths.
2. Take laps
Tap Lap to record a split without stopping the clock. Each lap is timed from the previous one and added to a list, so you can compare them afterwards.
3. Stop & reset
Pause and resume as often as you need. Reset clears the clock and the laps back to zero, and Full screen gives you a big, easy-to-read display.
